John R. Rickford
Biography
John R. Rickford is the J.E. Wallace Sterling Professor of Linguistics and the Humanities and a Bass University Fellow in Undergraduate Education at Stanford University. He is a sociolinguist with expertise in language variation, pidgin and creole languages, African American English, and language education.
